Skills
Mechanical Problem Solving
My work at a first-class ski mountaineering shop requires me to perform precision operations on complex equipment under constant time pressure with little or no margin for error.
Publicity and Marketing
In support of a burgeoning film company, I have crafted sponsorship appeals to potential supporters, while maintaining and cultivating existing corporate relationships.
Entrepreneurial Experience
My experience running a summer landscaping and odd-jobs business with two partners taught me the importance of developing community contacts, estimating jobs accurately, living up to expectations, and teamwork.
Communicating Ideas/Procedures
I enjoy explaining and demonstrating techniques to others, a skill I have honed in my work as a ski instructor, mentoring trails volunteers in Glacier National Park, and working with visitors as a Wilderness Ranger.
Outdoor Skills
My in-depth knowledge of hiking, backcountry skiing, and backpacking makes me particularly well-suited to service equipment in remote locations under adverse weather conditions.
