DEHUMIDIFICATION & COOLING LOADS
FROM VENTILATION AIR
To help engineers understand the importance of moisture loads from ventilation air, we assembled a team to write the necessary computer code, and then wrote an article which defines, explains and calculates the US “Ventilation Load Indexes”, a concept developed in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Defense and the Gas Technology Institute. The article was chosen as the “Best Journal Article for 1997” by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.

Acumen - The Baker Company
The Baker Company of Sanford, Maine is a leading supplier of biological safety cabinets. We worked with research and development engineers, producing journal-quality technical papers for circulation to their clients concerning the more complex aspects of BSC design, installation and operation. These were published as the “Acumen” series, and were printed directly from our fully-composed electronic pages.
